The young man in the picture is an Abbott campaign operative who was behind the repulsive illegal immigrant stunt at UT, which was called off (more than likely because of Abbott's demands that it be done away with). Hell of a job you guys are doing for Wendy Davis! Much appreciated.

4. I don't know what's happened to conservatives in this state.

For a while back in the 80's, it seemed like Republicans were moderating all over the country; like the collapse of the Soviet Union had them transitioning away from their warmongering bellicose mindset. On top of that, somewhere along the way, the Red Chinese went from being an Armageddon nuclear threat to an annoying trade threat and Cuba was neutralized as a menace at our doorstep by extension. I don't think conservatives could stand not having a bogeyman to panic over and hate, so they turned their xenophobia on minority groups within their own country. The red-baiters that always won elections before and whipped their base to vote for them now use illegal aliens and other code-speak that refers to minorities they dislike. The 47%. The takers. And so it goes on.
