Hickenlooper polling under 50% in Colorado

Here are the poll results against four GOP challengers.

Anytime we see an incumbent below the 50% threshold, it can be problematic.

Fortunately he's still pretty well up on the rest of the assholes in that race.

Hickenlooper will win. The Montana Senate poll we just added though is bad news, but news the DEMS certainly expected. All DEM challengers trail Rep. Daines by far.

go back and forth, back and forth, back and forth....

4. Against a generic republican. Against the likely contenders, he wins by 7-10 points.

Hick has pissed off a lot of the Democratic base by supporting fracking, despite his base counties all opposing it. So he's got ground to make up. But neither the base counties nor the swing counties are at all interested in Gov. Tancredo, Gessler or Buck.

Hick could get primaried and lose that way, but the COGOP base primary voters like their candidates rabid and deep in the wings.
