Kanye West: Obama Has Trouble Because He Isn't As Well Connected As Jews

The rapper Kanye West said publicly this week that President Obama has been limited in his presidency because black people don't have the same "level of connections" as Jews and "oil people."

"Man, let me tell you something about George Bush and oil money and Obama and no money," West said in an interview with New York City's 105.1 FM that was surfaced Friday by the Israeli newspaper Haaretz. "People want to say Obama can't make these moves or he's not executing. That's because he ain't got those connections. Black people don't have the same level of connections as Jewish people. Black people don't have the same connection as oil people."

West made the comments while speaking on 105.1 FM's The Breakfast Club program. A short clip from the interview was uploaded to YouTube. Watch it here:

Like I care what any famous person thinks. Mostly relatively uneducated, celebrities are meaningless. Few of them achieve anything of distinction beyond being a celebrity.

Society sucks to the extent that anybody listens to Prima Donnas like Kayne West. Or even cares what he thinks.

University, Kanye's education was snazzy and international, he studied in Nanking starting at age 10 when his mother taught at Nanking University. Background about as academic as it gets. He's still an obnoxious dweeb. But not exactly illiterate.

He was in grade school overseas as a child, which means he was in grade school while overseas, as a child. Not much more than that.

He wasn't writing his thesis on Imperial China at the time, he was most likely learning his multiplication tables just like every other kid does at that age while his mother taught there for a year.

For example, did he just bring Jews up out of the blue or was he asked about it?

But regardless, Obama has tons of connections, to some extremely wealthy people, some of whom are Jewish. Penny Pritzker for example. Robert Wolf for another example. And as far as "executing", I would say being elected President of the United States twice is something. So it doesn't make sense for Kanye to hold Obama up as an example of what he's talking about.

The idea that Dem strategists could have lefty nutties out there to take some distraction heat off the president has crossed my mind, however.
