2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumThe silver lining for Democrats on Obamacare
BY AARON BLAKE AND SEAN SULLIVAN
December 18 at 6:30 am
The myriad problems with the rollout of HealthCare.gov and the Obamacare exchanges have pushed President Obamas approval ratings to a new low and, to hear many tell it, might give Republicans a leg up in the 2014 election.
But tucked into the new Washington Post-ABC News poll released Tuesday is a cautionary tale for the GOP.
It is this: Despite the countrys opposition to the Affordable Care Act and Obamas leadership on it, it doesnt want to turn the reins over to Republicans. (emphasis added by me, DonViejo)
The poll shows just 34 percent of Americans approve of Obamas implementation of the health-care law, while 62 percent disapprove including 50 percent who say they strongly disapprove. Pretty bad, right?
But when you ask people whether they would rather see Obama or the GOP in charge of that implementation, 42 percent pick Obama, while 37 percent pick Republicans. Thats actually the biggest advantage Obama has had on that question since 2010 marginally bigger than the narrow three-point difference for Obama in September, before the botched rollout.

These are the same hammerheads who opposed Medicare so strongly in the 60's, and are now saying "Keep yo' gubmit hayands offa mah Medicare!"
When one is no longer at risk for going bankrupt just for getting sick, it's a powerful incentive to keep it that way...

at least 50% of those who oppose it are racists and will never admit the great advantages of Obamacare..
