Voter Registration Down Among Hispanics, Blacks

GOTV and registration have to be a top priority from here on out.

http://politicalwire.com/archives/2012/05/04/voter_registration_down_among_hispanics_blacks.html

"The number of black and Hispanic registered voters has fallen sharply since 2008, posing a serious challenge to the Obama campaign in an election that could turn on the participation of minority voters," the Washington Post reports.

"Voter rolls typically shrink in non-presidential election years, but this is the first time in nearly four decades that the number of registered Hispanics has dropped significantly."

Of what could happen IF the Repukes win. And make it in Spanish and English. They need to be more voter friendly and inform more people in those neighborhoods of where to register. They need to bring people to schools so parents can register to vote at the schools they have their children at.

in the primaries in that a lot of people were registered in 2008 due to the primary campaign. Not that I would have wanted the president challenged.

5. Dems Waited While rePIGs Turned The Screw On Voter Registrations

It still amazes me how the DNC never took the cries of people protesting the rePIGlican onslaught on voter registrations allover the country! I wonder what they expected to happen. Waiting until it is almost too late to do anything is, to me, the most irresponsible thing the DNC could have done. Maybe now they will have to pour a lot of resources into the effort to correct this. Hoping for bipartisanship when the rePIGs were playing to win should never be the case at all in things of this nature.

7. We can't let new voter suppression laws work. We gotta get people to register voters somehow.

This is why the Repubs. don't care about losing the minorities' votes. They just make sure they CAN'T vote.
