Senate Majority PAC launches ad hitting Scott Brown

BY SEAN SULLIVAN
January 8 at 9:08 am

A Democratic super PAC launched a preemptive attack against former senator Scott Brown (R-Mass.) Wednesday in the form of a TV ad that casts him as an ally of Wall Street.

"Now he's shopping for a Senate seat in New Hampshire. Really? That's good for Wall Street and great for Scott Brown. But t doesn't make sense for New Hampshire," says the narrator of the 30-second commercial from Senate Majority PAC.

Brown has been flirting with a New Hampshire Senate bid for months. He's appeared in the state regularly and has criticized Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) indirectly.

Senate Majority PAC is spending $160,000 to air the ad over 10 days in New Hampshire. It's titled "#Bqhatevwr" — a reference to a perplexing tweet Brown dispatched last year. He later said it was a pocket tweet.

it's like the further you go north, things start becoming like the south again as if you've gone full circle...

He'll come up with a good excuse though. They always do.
