Hope he's going to be able to undo the damage the repukes have done to my wonderful state. I'm also hoping he'll be able to enact some progressive legislation during his term.

Too bad there is so much gerrymandering to overcome. A fair House election would sure be nice for a change.

But the most progressive governor possible here would be limited by the heavily Republican Assembly. He still should do some good and should certainly prevent the nutjobs in this state from doing more damage. I hope that he makes Medicaid expansion a big deal during his administration as he did during the campaign. Even if isn't successful that would help to highlight the Republican "War on the Poor."
