the Axis of Evil
Andrea Mitchell had Chris Cillizza commenting that State of the Union addresses usually do not generate memorable headlines, with the exception of Bush in 2002 talking about the "Axis of Evil."
Mitchell stopped him right there commenting that she remembered that and was surprised. Apparently the State Dept. was not on it and that we had good relations with Iran then. They were cooperating with us on the border of Afghanistan.
