The Face of Failure: Only 500 People Show Up To See Mitt Romney In Ohio

Remember when the right was claiming that Obama failed when he drew 14,000+ people to his Ohio rally? Today, Mitt Romney showed us what failure really is by drawing 500 people to his Ohio event.

According to Cleveland.com, “Before Romney began his town hall forum at Stamco Industries, Ohio Auditor Dave Yost dismissed the killing of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden as an Obama accomplishment. A Romney backer, Yost told a crowd of more than 500 that giving the president credit for bin Laden’s death would “be like giving Ronald McDonald credit for the Big Mac you had for lunch. Everyone knows it’s the man working the griddle, not the man on TV.”

The Romney people called the crowd estimated at anywhere between 300-700, “great turnout.”

Let’s do a little comparison shall we?

You said you and your fellow conservatives believe "everyone" should live like the Papa John's Pizza guy lives. "The man working the griddle" is making the pizza too. They deserve the credit. How much should they rightfully earn compared to the mis-credited Ronald McDonald? He just gives the orders, right? No credit for that!

I thought they were dumb for going after crowd size when it was clear Obama draws much larger crowds than Romney, but to do it on a day which they know Romney is going to be hosting a rally that would be only a small fraction of the size? Idiots.

I am starting to think the Republicans might be right about evolution, they are clearly still the same people they were in the stone age.

Republican party leaders are starting to rally around Mitt Romney, but it’s not exactly a stampede of support for the expected GOP presidential nominee ...

Besides air time, can't any of the uber-wealth Rove, Koch bro's and their cronies are hoarding buy out attendance? Make's me really wonder what is in the works come convention time. A planned Paul take over or something? Making Obama spend a good chunk dealing with the wrong guy.

Like, if that kind of strategy is going to work this time around...

OTOH maybe they think that if they somehow manage to smear President Obama enough and/or create the perception that President Obama is doomed/evil enough, they just *might* get lucky?

IMHO we need to make sure to keep our eyes on House/Senate races and other down-ticket races that the Super Pacs are already pouring lots of money into.

You think that 100,000 terrorist master-minds are killed each day like a standardized product in a highly-automated industry? You think Seal Team 6 members are just like fry cooks? Do the people of Ohio really pay you to be serve as an auditor? Aren't auditors supposed to be skilled at analysis? Your attempted analogy is false, not to mention lame.

Ohio, you might think twice about keeping Dave Yost on your payroll. He's displaying a serious bias issue, and digging for facts does not seem to rank high in his skillset.

By the way: anywhere between 300-700 people? Even "losers" can pull over 20 times that number.
