Make no mistake

the fight is at the local and state levels. What I find so frustrating is that it is very hard to determine political affiliation of local candidates.....one literally has to ask them up front and they often give you a wishy washy answer......regardless of party affiliation. They just don't want to labeled.

What frosted me though was late last summer, a republican political flunkey was appointed as a state Representative due to a vacancy. This idiot ran for the US house and lost. We had a history with him years ago when he was on the school board.......my wife ripped him a new one because of his very conservative views. On a funny note, he was campaigning in 2012 and knocked on our door....I recognized him and talked to him. I asked if he remembered me....he said no and then I told him my wife's name. He beat a fast retreat, never to be seen in the neighborhood again!
