Bloomberg: President Barack Obamas health-care law is becoming more entrenched, with 64 percent of Americans now supporting it outright or backing small changes, even as the fervor of the opposition shows no sign of abating.
Highlights:
-RETENTION: 51% would keep Obamacare with small modifications, the highest level of acceptance for the law yet.
-MAJOR DECIDER: 73% of those opposed say the law will be a major decider in voting, compared to 45% in favor of modifications and 33% in support of law as is.
-VOTER TURNOUT: 73% of repeal advocates will definitely vote.
-REPUBLICAN RETENTION: 62% of Republicans want to keep the ban on pre-existing medical condition coverage. 57% want to keep the requirement for children to age 26 staying on parents policies.
-MANDATE: A 51% majority of the country opposes the requirement that all Americans carry health insurance.
-QUALITY: 67% have seen no change in the quality of care compared to a year ago.
