Just got two political flyer's in the mail.

One of them, the flyer from State Senator Neal Kedzie (R 11th ) lets me know the portions of three counties have been gerrymandered into his clutches. He lets me know that the state budget is balanced and WHOPPING tax cuts enacted, because you know, balanced budgets mean nothing ever deviates form a planned path.
He continues to fight to lower the taxes on retirees cause old people vote republican and he wants to keep 'em out of Florida.
Some worker training bills have been passed. Nine mil for training and apprenticeships, one hundred mil for workforce and apprenticeships (evidently apprentices rock), and 15.5 million in federally supplied funds have been graciously given to vocational rehabilitation by the state legislators to help the disabled get a damn job. Wisconsin might be hemorrhaging jobs, but we soon will be well trained to meet the challenge of 2000 applicants for 40 jobs.

The mostest wonderful part of the entire "welcome to the fold" flyer is nowhere is his political affiliation listed. A couple hundred words centered around "dig me" and the word republican never shows it ugly head.

He knows his brand is poison.

The other one is a union endorsement for school board candidates.

The name recognition is the most important thing. Neither party ever mentions who they are where I live.

they go straight to recycle. But them coming in the mail at least helps the post office and the folks who printed them a bit.
