I just had a conversation with a person who is angry because their insurance is being impacted by having to pay for the health insurance of "others." My subsequent rant I do not regret.

Faux News lies and teabagger propaganda is awash in the land.

You've got to understand one thing, a majority of people (especially white ppl to be honest) have always focused their energy on blaming every single problem they have on "minorities" who they fantasize are living it up on "government welfare" at the expense of the "ordinary man". They've been saying this since the Reconstruction era if not earlier, even as Black ppl labored harder and got paid much less. This way the public doesn't have to face the real problem, that they're being robbed by the richest ppl and that they're as "middle class" as they thought they were. Scapegoating pure and simple.

I call it brainwashing.
