Immigration Bill Hinges on New Obama Attitude, Boehner Says.

Speaker John A. Boehner, answering to his mockery of his Republican troops, returned to Capitol Hill on Tuesday with a different message: Any movement on an overhaul of the nation’s immigration laws will depend on a new White House attitude toward Republicans in Congress.

But Republicans and Democrats, both publicly and privately, suggested that a narrow window for an immigration bill could open early in the summer — after most of the midterm Republican primaries — if Congress and President Obama build cooperative good will on smaller bills in the coming weeks.

Meeting with House Republicans behind closed doors on Tuesday, Mr. Boehner defended his performance in his Ohio district last week, when he called members of his conference babies who were whining at the difficulty of moving forward on immigration legislation. The speaker told his members on Tuesday that he was simply kidding around, but admitted that perhaps he had gone “a little too far.”

“You all know me,” he told reporters after the meeting. “You tease the ones you love.”

The irony of "The Crying Orange" Boehner calling anyone else a crying baby is enormous. Next, he has to criticize someone else's spray-tan application, and he'll have successfully overloaded every remaining irony meter in Washington.

Almost as bad as when Cantor whined about Obama not being nice enough to republicans. These guys have exactly ZERO self-awareness, don't they? Is IOKIYAR that deeply ingrained that they don't even realize they're doing it?

If anybody owes anybody an apology and should adopt a "new attitude", well, do I really need to say?

You think that maybe the roadblock is the fault of the people who met BEFORE PRESIDENT OBAMA WAS EVEN INAUGURATED to strategize on how to roadblock him? Maybe those are the folks that should apologize? SHOCKING!

(of course)

And P.S. Love your sig!

No one who isn't already aligned politically with you will believe that this is anything other than a convenient excuse for sandbagging the White House on immigration reform. Again. Just fuck you.
