when I logged in not using the above link, I could not find the petition. The search on the site won't find it. I did sign it using the link above.

...something is fishy about this! I haven't heard a thing about this from the prez. Should read his web site first or you may be just spinning your wheels. After two days I've seen this no one has signed it.

The President has nothing to do with starting a petition, Pres. O. started the petition system.

Your petition will not have general open viewing until about 5,000? signatures are on your petition. Like the OP did you post, email & tweet your petition link to gain the minimum number of sigs for your petition to gain 'open viewing'. Once your petition is open view, any visitors to the white house petition website can sign. I'm registered at the WH petition site and have signed on many of the open petitions.

Then when your Petition reaches some number of sigs like 20,000? EDIT AGAIN- I checked website and this is the required number (Pres. O this is to high a number!)->> "Signatures needed by May 29, 2014 to reach goal of 100,000" ) The White House Admin. requires the Federal agency for your petition to issue a written response to your question.

The petition website is a very cool idea and my group has had a written answer to our issue. However, I do think the required number of sigs is to high, The first year the required number of sigs was a lot lower, like 10,000?

After the first year some republicans, specifically Sue Wallis (R) started to 'game' the system and for example got thousands of sigs to 'appear' on her petition overnight. Probably more than you wanted to know about the White House petition website but I still remember that republicans newsletter telling her minions to sign her petition for all their friends & family. And so it was, thousands of sigs in just a day or two.

No matter, as karma caught up with republican Sue Wallis (R) and she died in her sleep in some hotel room, alone last year.

I really wanna know why havent the Nat Guard moved it yet? If this group is closing public roads and what not why are they allowed to still be together?

Also should be posted in any online article about Bundy. I'll do my part to make that happen.

If the idea is to send in the National Guard to arrest citizens, then no, I oppose this with all my heart while I also oppose that lunatic Bundy. If we are talking state or local law enforcement, then sure. The military is not some tool to arrest private citizens, even when they are criminals.

The local sherif is Ignoring pleas from people who live there and are threatened by the militia.

needs to include language addressing that issue. The military is not a tool of the government to use against the people, no matter how vile they are. The fact that we are having this conversation is stunning.

already is in trouble, with those federal fines that will never go away. I am annoyed the BLM took 20 years and I think whoever in BLM in charge of the Bundy leases, should lose their job.

I think our DOI/BLM should post the names/ranches on their website of lands and leased public lands and what the agreements are. We use our public lands, visit sometimes. The public would be able to report livestock illegal grazing/illegal mining by just checking the DOI/BLM website.

DOI/BLM should also be required to report on their website the yearly poachers caught, graze/oil/mining lease revenue vs management costs for all public lands and report who is not paying for their leases.
