And fascists, authoritarians and general assholes.
Regardless, the story is out there.

Makes them more like their vengeful God.

(53,061 posts)2. I don't think that Biden 'slipped' up. Don't think it was an accident
But I do have to say that the Washington Post article coming out today was very fortunate for the President.
It humanized what he was talking about, put a person's face to the problem.
Sometimes he is very lucky.

This was a planned move and it worked out perfectly. WaPo held the story on Romney a day so the Pres. could get his statement in.

(53,061 posts)6. I normally wouldn't agree but I do with a slight revision.
the administration was asked over the weekend to comment on a story that WAPO said would run next week, but because it was significant they wanted to double check the sources to ensure that they wouldn't get caught out like Dan Rather.
Plouffe and team realized that with North Carolina voting and this story coming out they needed to let it 'slip'.
They got the 'slip master' and primed David Gregory, who hasn't asked an interesting question since he got MTP to ask him.
It slipped out, Duncan was next and then the President was "catching up".
North Carolina votes. The President Responds and WAPO publishes their article.
No one knows for sure but I hope that these guys are that smart. The were able to pick the perfect time politically to make the news and make it look like it was an accident.

Seems to pick on gays. Oh well, he can't remember those incidents. Youthful idiocy. Totally believable.
