There's a profile of Joe Biden in this week's New Yorker.

I don't know if the author was being insulting when they said "He's been the most popular politician for 40 years in a state with half the population of Houston". Since I grew up in Houston, it's been pretty damn big for several decades.

The funniest line: a tweet during the campaign "Joe Biden's teeth are so white they voted for Romney".
