Propaganda at It’s Finest Media Monopoly - Diversion

The President made one of his most riveting speeches on the beheading of Journalist Jim Foley, The Media said we cannot let this speech be heard! We must divert the story elsewhere from a Positive for the President, to a Negative. The president must not get a pump in the polls! So they took photos of the president golfing after a crises and made that the head line, page one, then in all there wisdom said the president is heartless and disengaged.

Look at the last presidents over 400 days of vacation, delegating his job to cronies and the overbearing vice president using the presidency as a cash cow. Bush was running all over the country trying to privatize social security and passing out the next game plan for taking over government from governors to the house and senate, the next ploy by think tanks that worked spectacularly.

I did not see the presidents speech played one time, rather it was about him playing golf, the game worked perfect, they have it down to a science as the general public is completely unsuspecting, as well as most of the media just followed along like lost sheep.

GOP mantra! Truth or Justice is a thing of the Past, Winning is more important then governing, that has been proven everyday, just look what republicans have not done since President Obama took office!

I don't have tv so I rely on other ways to get the info. I so love the compassion of our president.

It is the propaganda arm of Corporate America, and we must never forget that.

After the buried Pew Research Center's analysis (Pew has also taken it down from their site, hence the use of a link to the Daily Beast), no one in their right mind should believe that we still have a viable Fourth Estate. We don't.

The Pew Research study showed what Liberals have been saying all along - that President Obama (Democrats) got the least favorable coverage during the 2012 presidential campaign cycle, Mitt Romney (Republicans) enjoyed twice as much positive coverage as the president, and Rick Perry (Corporate Republicans) got the most favorable. Out of this list, you can see which of the candidates Corporate America wanted for president.

We need to accept that we no longer have a working and hard-hitting Fourth Estate anymore. Sadly, we don't. All we have are pockets of small sites and magazines scattered across this vast country and the Intertubes, and the evening lineup on MSNBC.

Free and widely distributed broadcast news shows still hold the advantage. They have the largest viewership, there where propaganda can do its most damage and what are controlled by master corporate propagandists posing as journalists and news media.
