Are Israel and Saudi Arabia Allies of the USA? Or is the USA a house slave to each of them?

To combat ISIS, the USA is taking the position of once again, organizing a multinational cabal to fight with it in Iraq and Syria.

But will Israel and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia participate with their military, with their technology, with their money, with their personnel?

Both countries have the most to lose...Israel with it's tenuous occupation of Palestine and 8 million inhabitants surrounded by 400 million Arabs. And Saudi Arabia with its uncountable wealth benefiting only the Saud royal family of princes, derived from oil that only requires drilling, storing and shipping.

If Israel would take an offensive position against any Islamic country it would be immediately annihilated.

Saudi Arabia needs to sell its oil to everyone so in effect it is an arms dealer to all sides.

They really can't participate, leaving the USA and it's European allies to fight their dirty, civil, religious wars for them.

So the USA has to take the public stand of supporting democracy in illiterate countries, of bringing freedom to civilizations who existed for centuries under feudal rule, etc. etc. BS!

This is a true "LOSE LOSE" situation for the USA. The only answer for the USA is to back out entirely. Period. End of Story. And stop being the puppet of these two "religious" states, one's who god is Yahweh and the other whose god is OIL. Let Bibi and "Bandar Bush" (Bandar bin Sultan) go to war with those that seek to destroy them.

The GOP is smiling with glee at the escalation of this military action. Increased military spending means increased deficits which means increased national debt which means higher interest payments which means major cuts in Medicare, Social Security, Medicaid, Unemployment Insurance, Environmental Protection, Space exploration and science, education, infrastructure repair, etc. etc.

These multinational corporations will ultimately get the low cost, uneducated, docile, non-unionized labor force in the USA that they desperately desire. It's all over for the middle class!

Lest we forget,

the world needs to remember from what country the 911 terrorists came from.

Origins of the 19 hijackers

Nationality Number
Saudi Arabia 15
United Arab Emirates 2
Egypt 1
Lebanon 1

And throw Bin Laden in the mix as well as a Saudi.

I don't know exactly what's going on but it's clear that there is something else influencing politicians and pundits in Western countries because their economic and foreign policies do not reflect the will of the people.

If Saudi Arabia and Israel cannot participate in the "war on terrorism" in the middle east then they should at least foot some of the bill for the USA military expenses. Why should the USA middle class foot the bill for their religious wars!

Send them a monthly bill for about $5 billion.

I don't buy your argument that SA can't fight it's own battles -- it just chooses to pay the infidel servants to fight on their behalf. Because they can afford to do so, and because they have utter contempt for all non-Muslims.

I'd say that the US is the submissive servant to Saudi Arabia, always begging them to be nice and sell their oil to the west. Makes me angry and disgusted to think about it.

I wish America would come home from the mideast, bring our military home, and develop renewable energy. Yep, I'm a dreamer.

Israel has taken an offensive position against many Islamic countries and no one has annihilated it yet.

There is only one military power in the region that is a match for Israel and that's Iran.

Absent Iran, Israel can and has taken on all comers working in concert. Twice. They won both wars handily.

One of the major reasons Israel is not involved in these regional conflicts is because we explicitly do not want them to be...not because they wouldn't win such conflicts decisively.

The United States requires around 20 million barrels per day, mostly for transportation. We produce about 6 million barrels per day. The rest must come from somewhere.

The United States and Europe have deep ties with Israel -- political, diplomatic, institutional, cultural, religious, and familial ties. Jewish people have been successful in America throughout the 20th century. Jewish Americans are prominent in academia, media, business, finance, medicine, law, and just about every other field.

Our interests in both countries aren't going away soon.
