I want to vent on the narrative that republicans are going to win both houses in November

Republicans are scared. They are sending out mailers and not mentioning they are republicans. The brand is tarnished. I found a flier on my car while on vacation for a guy in Southern California. He was for veterans rights, affordable housing and healthcare. Sounded reasonable. But when I went to his website, he was a teabagger who wanted to get rid of Obamacare, not hurt companies by raising the minimum wage, Obama is taking away our freedoms and guns blah blah blah usual republican bs talking points and further down the page he stated he was a republican. Every candidate running as a republican needs to be branded with what they are dirty stinking lousy corporate evil koch sucking republicans who are trying to sell out the American people and give our country to corporations to make us poor serfs with no dreams.

Republicans are blood suckers and evil. And all the money they have will never change that fact. Seeing them stop legislation tp raise the minimum wage, campaigning on getting rid of the ACA, being ok with companies outsourcing our jobs to flatten their profits, and attacking women's rights, minorities, immigrants and The LGBT community are not a winning platform. The scaredity cats who watch faux are not as many as us who want everyone to have a chance at the American dream and want a separation of church and state.

Ok rant over just had to vent because I saw another headline saying "Is another republican wave coming"?

And a a real Democratic/ progressive/liberal WOULD NEVER SUPPORT the lying two faced racist Rand Paul.

Matt Drudge, Sheppard Smith vocally and literally shred their own people. Tea baggers sooner or later eat their young, just ask Eric Cantor. Of course he is now a lobbiest

Republicans are definitely keeping the house, and there's a strong possibility they'll take the Senate.

You have to very careful how you say it around here, but liberals have been kidding themselves for years now that Republicans will "pay" for everything they've done and are doing.

This country is a lot more fucked up then liberals realize. Sarah Palin getting nearly 50mil votes should have sent out blaring red sirens to the left, but everyone was too busy feeling good about Obama being elected.

Gerrymandering, corporate media, citizens united, and an apathetic, ignorant citizenry are what's killing us. That and the fact that democrats are not unified and organized around progressive principles and policies and refuse (too scared) to fight back against the lies and propaganda.

I have been the wet blanket here for a while now.

I was hopefull after BO got elected, but the 2000 elections were a cold slap to the face.

In no way, shape or from did the republicans deserve ANY level of power and somehow they ginned up the biggest congressional turn around in modern history.

They are going nowhere, and what we have seen since Barrack Obama was elected president cements the simple reality that in this country "conservatives" will never be held accountable for this bullshit unless is crosses an unimaginably high threshold.

themselves. It may be close, it may be REAL close but hell, we elected Governor by 124 votes here in Washington a few elections ago..or was it just 24.... something like that. I don't think they take the senate.

I also wouldn't be surprised if we make gains in the house and pick up a few governorships.
In Iowa crazy Joni Ernst is running behind Bruce Braley, every hour there are ads on TV linking the Koch brothers and big oil to Crazy Joni. The ads are having a huge impact, Ernst has lost momentum and Braley's lead is looking solid.
Braley wins this one going away, he will make a fine replacement for the legendary senator Tom Harkin.

has happened since the GOP won in 2010? Nothing. So why keep them in there? Its time for a change.

It's actually pretty simple. It's management 101. You make a plan. You execute the plan. You see it failing. CHANGE THE PLAN!!!!
