That may be why the site that listed blue (or bluer) stores no longer exists.

I think the best you can do is try to patronize places that are not notoriously sucky to their workers and to the community.

The less you shop at all, the bluer you "shop." That's environmental.

Try to shop what's left of local stores that are not owned by chains.

Stay away from fast food places, if you can, given all the strikes over poor wages.

Neither WalMart nor Target is perfect, but I stick to the latter.

Maybe other posters have more suggestions for all of us.
