Liberals find a way to sit out in mid-terms. These liberal habits does not give much confidence to liberal lawmakers and have no choice but turn center-right. If liberals voted every two years, this will never happen. Look at Tea Party. They may be mad at GOP but come election day, they will vote GOP and continue every time.
