GOTV 2014 in Nevada (NV) Day 5 EV. Two-county totals 10/22/14 Reps lead 2,536 votes

Update 10/23/14: I spoke with the Clark County Election Department about the discrepancies and they assured me the numbers are suppose to be the way they are due to voters who sign in, but don't vote. They either forgot their sample ballot or are helping someone else (elderly mother/father) and they simply forget to vote themselves. They double check everyone who signs in with the voter rolls to be certain there isn't any funny business. Because the last thing they want is a costly run-off election.

Unofficial NV SoS Results - Day 5 (SoS has not posted cumulative PDF for today) Link is their exe2zip executable.

The Clark numbers cumulative (early/mail):
Democrats -- 19,537, or 41 percent (down 627% or 102,914 votes from 2012**) In other words, every DEM who votes has the weight of 6, for every other DEM who hasn't voted yet. ***
Republicans -- 20,236, or 42 percent (down 494% or 79658 votes from 2012)
Others -- 8,292, or 17 percent
- Jon Ralston Reports

Republis lead - 2,536
Clark County (Las Vegas) - REPS +699
Washoe County (Reno) - REPS +1,837

Avg: REPS +507/day

If democrats had as many votes in 2014 as they had by this point in 2012, the election would be over and ever democrat on the ballot would be headed for a win, in a landslide.

* Partisan offices left blank due to Republis as the only partisan candidates.
** According to the numbers I posted last election on DU. I didn't produce numbers for 2010.
*** As we explain to voters on the phone bank (PB), your mid-term election vote has 6x the weight as it did in the 2012 election.
