Great turn out at my polling place in NC.
This is purely anecdotal evidence, but this is the first time I have ever had to wait in a line backed out of the door. They ran out of little voting 'booths' and created make shift ones with machines between us to fill out our ballots on a folding table off to the side.
The down side: I only saw other white people voting and I felt like I was the only person there under 35 
Also discouraging is that once again not one single democrat ran for election to the NC House for my district. WTF? I know we have some good democrats here... I've been to the meetings.
