The first was a constitutional amendment to allow for Nullification of Federal law ... Hell No, the Civil War decided that issue.
The second would allow for terminal patients to receive whatever drug they (and their doctor) want, as a possible treatment protocol ... Why not?

(10,971 posts)Apparently it overrides the FDA - Democratic lawmakers are opposed to it for that reason. At least that's how I understand the issue - it sounded pretty innocuous to me as well.

(31,849 posts)But I'm all over the map on the Federalism issue. I want Federal Supremacy as it is what prevents a total Civil Rights roll back; but it also prevents MMJ, which I support.

(10,971 posts)I support it, but I see a lot of people that I support and respect opposing it - and I don't trust the AZ Legislature to put anything on the ballot that I should support, so I think I'm missing something. Of course it sounds like it's going to pass by a landslide so...
