What are the other potential candidates spouses? Have they been seen in the presense of a Republican, something that apparently makes them unsuitable for public office, in your view.
Clearly the candidates themselves are irrelevant to the issue. All that maters is their spouses' relationships. Somehow I doubt you will apply that same criteria to other candidates, especially male ones.

I would think the more important issue is a candidate's position on torture, not that their spouse is seen in the presence of a Republican.

As for who I support, I will wait until we have an actual election with declared candidates who debate issues. The fantasy presidential election that has been running on DU for 6 years is meaningless.

Apparently both Eric Cantor and Chuck Todd are married to women who are lifelong liberal Democrats...

In all of the Presidential races I've voted in, I've usually seen something like 4-5 options on my ballot per race.

Well maybe if fewer people did we wouldn't have such shitty and limited options.

Before that time, I have the absolute right to support any Democratic candidate I choose, whether or not their last name is Clinton. The unwillingness of some Hillary enthusiasts to accept the fact that the primary/caucus votes of Democrats from 50 states and a number of US territories will determine who wins the nomination ... whether or not the it first name is Hillary.

But, best of luck to her. If she runs and wins, I'm fine with it. That's what democracy is about.

But I won't be voting for her.

Otherwise, I refuse to support her till then.
I want to see other options first..
Like in 2008, the front runners are my last choice.
