Tammy Duckworth, running against Mark Kirk

Just a reminder of how unbelievably awesome this woman is.

There is nothing phony about Tammy Duckworth. She will be a great addition to the Senate

Special shout out to misterhighwasted who made me think about this exchange with his post http://www.democraticunderground.com/1251401606

And her announcement has already made Democratic position easier: Kirk has said he'll support POTUS' AG nominee Loretta Lynch!

is pretty much owned by the Israeli lobby and always has been.
Tammy Duckworth would be good for us here in Illinois and with the idiot Rauner taking us down the primrose path maybe she could even help us at the state level.
I will certainly support her and really hope she can become our new Senator in 2016. She would be a good one and I have no doubt about that.

Did you know that during the primary, he spent more than all the other candidates, Republican and Democrat, combined?

In the general election, Rauner spent over three times as much as Quinn, including $20 million of his own money. Basically, he bought himself the governorship.

And every sign I saw, was NO RAUNER. I thought he would be defeated regardless of the money he spent. .

I thought Chicago would out vote down State. We have before.

“I support a two-state solution arising from direct talks between Israel and the Palestinians,” Duckworth’s official position paper states. “Israel must be recognized as a Jewish democratic state, living in peace alongside a non-militarized Palestinian state. There can be no substitute for direct, bilateral negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians.”

Which is not Obama's current position. He wants the UN involved. The UN can't doing anything there.

She will make a great senator. And I truly believe, she will do great things for Veterans. Things that should be a given

woman, a professional, a survivor and a military heroine take this 2 cent POS to the proverbial woodshed and slammed the door. (Maybe 2 cents is too much)

Senator Duckworth sounds just right to me. She's damned well earned at least a shot at it. and I hope to god she makes it. Another woman in the Senate...a proudly disabled woman from serving her country. I don't know if that's a first, but it's surely not common under any recent Senate count.

The woman has more than paid her dues in more than one way.

She's strong, decisive, reasonable and not at all mixed up with the corporations. She will fight for immigrants, Veterans, women, minorities and the working people of Illinois.

I can't wait for her to take office as Senator Duckworth.

This exchange has to be part of her campaign. She sliced him and diced him and stood up for people that need a voice
