George W. Bush: Jeb has a problem: 'Me'

CHICAGO — Jeb Bush’s candidacy has a problem, says brother George.

“Me.”

“It’s an easy line to say, ‘Haven’t we had enough Bushes?’ After all, even my mother said, ‘Yes,’” the former president told an audience of 7,000 health IT experts here on Wednesday.

“That’s why you won’t see me out there, and he doesn’t need to defend me, and he’s totally different from me. The role of family is not to be a political adviser or a policy adviser — there are plenty of those around — the role is to say, ‘Hey man, I love you.’

“The president needs people around him who are there to say they want to help. Imagine if instead Laura had been saying to me, ‘What the hell did you get us into this for?’ You’re living in a museum. It’s cold. It’s not your furniture. It’s Jefferson’s furniture.”

Guess she missed the parts quoted in the article. I don't know how he is qualified to address this group.

Wonder how much he was paid for the hour?

Here is his bio from the conference - http://www.himssconference.org/education/GeorgeWBush

His bio leaves out 9/11, two wars and financial meltdown.

Of course it does. He, Cheney, the Corporate Media, and many Democrats here on DU and elsewhere are blaming Obama for these things.

I know you're from Texas and all, but frankly, "W" stands for the WORST. And he was indeed the WORST "president" who ever occupied the White House.

Since W spent very little time in the WH, did the Bush's move the WH furniture the the pig farm in Crawford? I am not sure that Laura knows ANYTHING about the two wars her husband started that enriched the entire family, and the adminisration. Her role was to just sit and smile, wearing brocade pant suits. I think the health care people might pay W in booze and pills. Is he done with the painting therapy now?

"President Bush transformed the military to meet the changing threats of the 21st century."

Without even addressing the validity of that statement, this is the only mention of anything related to war! That's a "bio"?

The whole family is married to politics, and business, living and breathing corruption, as standard loyal practices.

The very reason the Bush Family along with Cheney and all those connected in the administration, financed by a lot of one percent big money, will for the longest time have to pay to stay away from being disgraced, condemned in International crimes about torture, sacking the treasury, and the primary perpetrators of profiteering by war.

Now after research, and personal experience the Bush family is likely connected to the largest United Health Care Company. My findings lead to documentation issues loaded with bogus medical data base system derived perhaps over decades that likely has a corrupt or false or outright fraud in the ability for determinations in medical recovery planning.

Also mention his friend Cheney with an endless list in mercenary madness, secret torture, with billions if not trillions in profiteering all complicit with our mainstream media with support from the legal branches up to the Supreme Court itself a master piece of leverage that totally screwed up America.

My own research has found the Bush Family tightly connected to the powerful transportation corporation the Union Pacific Railroad with relatives, especially grandpa Prescott Bush working for the famous Harriman a Nazi supporter and known financier of Hitler tyranny in the second world war, who's Nazi business practices are expressed today.

So it should not be surprising to know that the wars are a lie and Bush has been a business partner with the famous terrorist family the “Bin Ladens" for decades all suppressed by the mainstream media.

From my view the criminal complicity is so huge America would likely have to double the federal resources to jail everyone, that is of course if America could make room and jail at least half of the Supreme Court as it is today.

Also extend that complicity of retaliation or retribution in routine work and worse loyalty programs implemented to avoid good honest reporting for injury health issues within the business operation of the Union Pacific Railroad.

His first major move was the disastrous mass email release from his governor years. This was complete with constituent's names and personal details, and was stunning in its stupidity.

If he wasn't so much like his brother, he would stand a chance of breaking free of him and winning the primary. But everything he does echos W's appalling presidency.
