In Nov, are you going to vote FOR Obama or AGAINST Gingrich?

The vast majority of Republicans are voting AGAINST Obama; it's clear they don't really like any of their candidates, but their "top priority" is to "get Obama out of the White House". They've been saying that for years.

And, if I were pressed, I'd have to say I will turn out and cast a vote for Obama, despite my numerous reservations, despite his record, despite my disappointments in him, in order to keep Gingrich (or whichever Republican) OUT of the White House.

So, I ask my fellow DU'ers, In November, are you going to vote FOR Obama or AGAINST Gingrich?

I voted for someone for the first time in 2008. That didn't quite work out the way I'd hoped. My fault I know. Back to reality.

period.

Like Jackie Robinson was when compared to most baseball players,
Obama is better than many Presidents we have had in the past,
and although he ain't perfect, no one ever said that perfection was a prerequisite
to earning a 2nd term,
so I'm not sure why that should be a prerequisite now....all of the sudden!

whatever.

They are just frothing and screaming to "get rid of Obama". Any loss of enthusiasm or abstention b/c of idealism on our side is going to deliver the White House to the Republican.

while watching a Repuke debate shortly before Iowa. That experience sobered me up in a hurry from my brief flirtation with voting 3rd party or abstaining in November. Sometimes it is a civic duty to hold one's nose and vote the lesser of two evils; 2012 is surely one of those times.

Half and half, no one can or should please all of us all of the time, impossible task, I do not like everything Obama has done or not done, but I do dislike everything the repugs have done so no-brainer Obama all the way.

And remember, I was a Hillary Clinton supporter during the primaries.

I don't think the hate of Obama is nearly as widespread as people want to believe.

There's no "vote against" option on my ballot. If there was, I'd have to vote twice...lol.

There won't be a category for "Not the Republican" - I have no choice but to vote "for" President Obama

I will vote for Obama because (a) I do like many of the things he's done, though not all of them; and (b) because I do not want ANY Republican to become President.
