(9,951 posts)FOX "News" audition! I'm guessing the third woman was his girlfriend and some of her friends took part...

(21,115 posts)In 2005 Dice wrote The Resistance Manifesto, a book on Illuminati and New World Order conspiracy theories, and quickly gained popularity amongst the Internet conspiracy community.[2] [3] [4] In May 2009 he published The Illuminati: Facts & Fiction discussing the possibility of an Illuminati secret society,[5] and continued writing books on secret societies, conspiracies, and government surveillance issues.[6]
Alex Jonesian!
WTF has DU devolved into!
Atman
(31,464 posts)But I sure as hell didn't endorse it. Yes, I smell a lot of stink on this one, but it sent to me by one of the few Florida friends I still have who are not total right-wing psychos.
VanillaRhapsody
(21,115 posts)So you knew this was "stinky" yet you posted it anyways???
Normally, people say they "didn't know"....but not this time!
Desperate times call for desperate measures I guess....
You're creating stuff I didn't say. It wasn't until after I posted it that a couple of my friends at DU pointed out who this guy is. It looked to have been filmed at the pier near my home town in Florida, so I thought it was a local thing, not some Fox shill. Still, I'll let it stand. Nothing wrong with discussion. Others will see this, too, or have it e-mailed to them from their in-laws. I learned from it, others will, too.
BTW, you've probably also seen the polls wherein people actually LIKE many of Obama's proposals as long as they believe Trump made them. I don't see this as much different, and maybe it was done as a sort of retaliation. It's still some food for thought.
VanillaRhapsody
(21,115 posts)and yet you left it up....because it fit a narrative...
We don't do Alex Jones at DU! In fact...we do not do CT....and this guy is ALL about CT!
Atman
(31,464 posts)So who is now doing "the narrative?" I think the grown-ups here can view the video, read the thread, and then do...whatever. I this changed ones vote in any way shape or form, they probably weren't too bright to begin with. The point, again, is that this stuff is out there. Stick your head in the sand and pretend that if we all just imagine unicorns and ponies then we can fly over the rainbow to victory. I'm not of that mindset.
VanillaRhapsody
(21,115 posts)I mean we don't believe in any of it....so why not?
Atman
(31,464 posts)VanillaRhapsody
(21,115 posts)bullshit!
And this guy is a complete round the bend loon!
Atman
(31,464 posts)Did you learn this? Did you watch some of his other stuff? Did someone tell you that he was "round?" Just curious. So you apparently know that he is "round," but I had never heard of him. So a learned something, just as you did at one point. I'm just another person educated, right? Or should we all just stick our heads in the sand, or our fingers in our ears, and yell "NEENER NEENER NEENER, I CAN'T HEAR YOU?"
And, for the record, no...not all conspiracy theories are exactly the same. Seriously. Look it up.

(31,464 posts)Someone made it. It is out there, people are forwarding it to friends and loved ones thinking it is real. It is therefore a real thing. You can pretend it doesn't exist, that is always your option. The Planned Parenthood videos exist, too. Did you just shut up about them, or did you discuss them and try help people understand that they were fake?

(31,464 posts)And yet, people on DU, and sites like Media Matters, point out Fox's b.s. every day. It only appears to be here on DU that so many of you get your panties in a wad instead of just viewing it for what it is.
If you're reading this site and this video somehow caused you to change your vote then, uhm...uh...something is seriously wrong with you already. It's just information people! That's all it is.

(32,886 posts)... first of all, they interview dozens and sometimes hundreds of people until they get the requisite amount who they have 'fooled'.
And in most cases, the folks they 'fooled' didn't even hear the question correctly. The actual question asked was so idiotic, the person being interviewed subconsciously changed it in their minds to something that they expected and made more sense and answered that question instead.

(45,319 posts)President and they say Mitt Romney they might get to be stupid on TV. So you can go big and filter through or you can direct a bit. Either way I can make such a segment proving anything in an hour.
The real question to ask is why is the person making it doing so? What is the objective? I'm always suspect of people who base their message on the inferiority of others. Because that includes the superiority of some.
