and what he said, it doesn.t seem that he is ready. it may be that the timeline just doesn't work for him. i hope he does what his heart tells him, whatever that is.

The only reason I know of to be coy about running for POTUS are FEC fundraising rules, and they are irrelevant if you are not running.

and being someone who is a genuinely nice guy imo,he probably doesn't want to say no out right because of loyalty to his party and his country. Man, I wish he would just say I'm grieving this isn't my time good luck to all the candidates.

he should run as a candidate in his own right because he wants to and because he feels he has the support to go forward, not as anyone's fallback. I know that many people who are saying this don't mean anything negative by it, but Bidens career is long and he has served his country with great passion, although he certainly isn't my cup of tea policy wise. But he deserves to be taken seriously as a candidate in his own right and not as a fallback for the inevitable one. And if Hillary should falter which she will, there are plenty of other good candidates in the race already, they just don't satisfy the Dncs bloodlust for corporate loyalty.
