Hillary Clinton’s lead in the Democratic presidential primary has dropped to 10 points since last month, according to a new CNN/ORC national poll of registered voters released Thursday night.

The former secretary of state has the support of 37 percent of Democrats and Democratic-leaning voters, with Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders at 27 percent.

Vice President Joe Biden, who has not yet declared whether he will run, polls at 20 percent. He is the sole presidential hopeful to make substantial gains in August, up 6 points.

Did Biden's number go up by 10%? merrily Sep 2015 #1
That's what I think, too. Till Biden makes up his mind these numbers will keep jumping around. pnwmom Sep 2015 #2
I didn't say what I thought. I only asked a question. merrily Sep 2015 #3
Did someone else express this thought, or did you: pnwmom Sep 2015 #4
Oh, ffs. It's related to the question. No certainty of any kind stated. And you're not a D.A. merrily Sep 2015 #5
Well, excuse me for daring to agree with what appeared to be a thought you had expressed. pnwmom Sep 2015 #6
You purported to agree with something I never expressed and I did not attack you for doing that. merrily Sep 2015 #7
Oh, right. I'm the "DA" because you expressed the thought that "this might be the Biden factor" pnwmom Sep 2015 #8
of course it's related to the Biden factor. The 'second choice' question is the giveaway wyldwolf Sep 2015 #10

Maybe no one other than Mrs. Bernie wants to see Bernie's polls go up and up more than I do, but this may be the Biden factor, not Hillary losing points to Bernie.

I did, however, react appropriately to your "gotcha" attempt prosecuting attorney style post. So, the faux victim mode post is wholly out of place.

A pleasure, as always.

and when I agreed, you decided you had only asked a question and not expressed a thought.

And I'm the picky one.

Uh-huh.

As 'second choice,' Sanders drops to just 12% among Dems. In fact, he's the only candidate that loses numbers in that sample. If Biden enters the race, it becomes a two-person race between he and Clinton. Sanders has the most to lose from a Biden bid.

Check out the link in the OP to the complete poll, and you will see that in the general election matchups, Clinton trails former neurosurgeon Ben Carson by a significant margin (51% Carson to 46% Clinton among registered voters) while running about evenly with both former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (49% Bush to 47% Clinton) and businessman Donald Trump (48% back each)."

She was leading all of these candidates, most by double digits, at the beginning of the summer...... Now she is losing to several of them.

I did not see data on that in the survey - but it's lengthy, so you can look for it your own self.
