Related: About this forumI'm getting really nervous now that Sanders' nomination is inevitable.
Didn't they say the same thing about Clinton's nomination just last month?

(93,878 posts)...I worry (seriously) that he's not electable, BOTH because of his self-avowed "socialist" identity, and his lack of adequate resources to go up against the Republicans.
I've ALSO said that in 2008 I switched from Clinton to Obama when I became convinced he could win as well. Give me a solid explanation of how Sanders wins a national election with shoestring finances, and I'll switch again.

As far as Bernie's fundraising goes, everything I've read says that jaws will drop when this quarter's numbers are released. The huge crowds he's drawing translates into a lot of people giving what they can.
He's building his organization as he goes. He had over 100,000 volunteers ages ago. Last I saw it was approaching 150,000. He's staffing up now in the south.
