The absurdity of some political machinations.

Am I to believe that a man that has stood up for the rights
of Blacks, Hispanics, etc. is supported by white supremacists?

Really?

I just don't get how Bernie could possibly attract this type of supporter.

In another post it is written "The vast majority of Bernie supporters are not white supremacists, ..." So in writing this, it is inferred that a minority (or whatever portion that is not in the vast majority) are white Supremacists?

Why in the heck would a white supremacist support Bernie? I don't get it. I would think that Bernie Sanders would be the last candidate that they would support.

And what about Clinton supporters? Does the above statement apply to her supporters i,e., "vast majority of her supporters are not white supremacists.. ) which again infers the remainder are white supremacists?

1. it's entirely possible that any given individual can support a variety of contradictory beliefs.

some white supremacists may support economic opportunity for themselves but not others. if they vote for it for themselves, others will get it as a bonus. a candidate wins by getting 50% votes plus one. Endorsements is a different thing entirely.

As for "white supremacists" attracted in numbers to Bernie, I haven't read much about that, but we have a lot of them around here and the very thought of their sort rallying to Bernie is pretty funny. Robin Williams could have done justice to that.

Skwmom, Vermont and Iowa are both very heavily white. Almost all people are mostly about themselves. It would not be hard to mount a valid argument that voters there are for policies that benefit whites over relatively minuscule minorities, and how kind of someone to allow that "most" are not white supremacists.

And that's about as likely as a white supremacist supporting Bernie Sanders.

and they know it. They just come from an integrity-free political tradition whereby it's okay to level heinous accusations at a political opponent if it helps win elections. Such people's opinions can be summarily dismissed.
