A lot of people are throwing out the message that the Clinton CAMPAIGN is slamming Bernie Sanders, as opposed to the CORRECT THE RECORD PAC. Alternatively, they're claiming that the two campaigns are being coordinated. That would be a violation of Federal law, so if you have evidence, it's your civic duty to report it.

(36,063 posts)The intent of the exception in the law was seemingly to let citizen volunteers to organize to do various volunteer work for candidates.
Once again Camp Clinton has moved in to stretch a loophole.
The 'it's legal' argument flag is up again.
Doesn't behaving in ways that regularly require that defense go a long way to explaining why it seems there's a vast conspiracy out there chasing unscandals?

(14,881 posts)without editing out the misinformation he put into it. Apparently fixing the title and simply writing an UPDATE in the body that states that he was mistaken about the size of the venue is too complicated.
It's ok, though. At this point he'd just adding to the unintentional comedy that is Clinton's campaign.

They even gave their legal reasoning why it was okay. It will likely be ruled illegal if ever challenged, but it is certainly not in the spirit of the current law.
