Welcome to the BIG tent of Democratic Populism

It's a big tent because it includes:

Liberal Democrats,
Progressive Democrats,
Conservative Democrats,
Moderate Democrats
Independents
and even some voters who lean Republican

The dictionary defines a populist as "a member or adherent of a political party seeking to represent the interests of ordinary people."

What this tent does not include are people that believe our government should work for the benefit of the few, the Defenders of the 1% (which unfortunately seems to include many in the Democratic Establishment).

It's a sad day in America when representing the interests of the people is even a matter of debate within the Democratic Party.

Our parties are so polarized that a lot of people don't realize that various types of conservatives join the Democratic "big tent" as their best means of fighting off GOP/TP attacks on them, and/or on beliefs and values important to them.
