(3,304 posts)I mean technically they are separate right?

(26,449 posts)Didn't Colbert demonstrate that?
The estimates I've seen are near a billion. How will that be used when Hillary isn't nominated?

(62,444 posts)I guess she'll do the same thing.
Or, in the fevered imaginations of some on DU, this will happen:
(Dear jury - the point is about the fantasies of some "enthusiastic" supporters of primary candidates)

(26,449 posts)The WWW reference is fucking hilarious.
No jury should hide that!

(3,431 posts)the convention, and then she will disappear
for the duration of the campaign.
The DNC will support Bernie to the most
minimal amount possible, claiming that
their main duty is to elect their people
to Congress.
I am afraid, my friend, that only the people
will be helping him.

(24,559 posts)money donated to PACs by corporations? Will his supporters scream and beat their chests if Bernie allows it to be used to benefit him? What will Bernie do when Hillary wins the nomination? So many questions.

Airc, when her campaign ended last time it was in debt. So there wasn't anything to do with 'it' as it was all gone.

(4,458 posts)put country and the base (we the people) first. I believe she'll be graceful. She certainly was before. I have no reason to believe anything else.
In spite of Everything else...Democrats are still the Adults in the room.

Cali_Democrat
(30,439 posts)surely all of his supporters, especially here on DU, will support her and they wouldn't ever go bonkers.
Right?
Warren DeMontague
(80,708 posts)will be the nominee.
And that's fine. Hell, I was open for a while to supporting her in the primaries, but she's run a really terrible campaign so far. Everything I was afraid she would do, in the vein of not only repeating her mistakes from 2008, but also avoiding a substantive leadership discussion for mushy, poll-tested pablum and annoyingly obvious obfuscation.. she's done 10 times worse than I was afraid she would.
But I've said all along I'll support her if she's the nominee. Of course. I can't speak for other people, but me, it's not an issue.

(9,951 posts)...she will support him for President.

$21.5 million
She makes about $725,000 a month in combined appearances, but given that she is currently campaigning for the Democratic Presidential Nomination, and cannot take an income from campaign donations, her salary is officially listed as $0. Her net worth as of 2015 is estimated to be $21.5 million.Jul 15, 2015

(6,048 posts)able to stump for Sanders. That would contradict his message and potentially turn off his core supporters. Anyway, Hillary, Bill, Obama et al. will be busy campaigning for down-ticket Dems, who will need all the help they can get with Sanders as the nominee. Sanders certainly won't be able to stump for any down-ticket Dem that is "establishment," "corporate" and/or "moderate" without facing the wrath of his base.

(2,471 posts)What will Sanders supporters do if Hillary wins the nomination? Odds are they won't work as hard for her as she worked for Obama.

(56,582 posts)Generally campaigns pay their remaining bills and then donate it to the winning candidate and/or charity.
Her PACs are a separate issue, though at this point I'm just giving up on DU understanding PACs and super PACs.

And like others have said the DNC won't do dick for Bernie.
She will be pretty low-key and out of sight, plotting her revenge.
