Farrakhan, A Black Muslim, Marches on DC on Oct 10th

Last edited Sun Sep 20, 2015, 10:08 AM - Edit history (4)

and now this Alternet Article about Bernie Sanders and Muslims, especially Black Muslims. Farrakhan is a very controversial person and it's much more than the most recent google search where it's reported that he told J.Z to put some clothes on Beyonce.

Among other things, the Alternet article accuses Bernie of fumbling on the question of how many Syrian refugees the U.S. should take.

I did NOT consider his response as fumbling. To know how many refugees this country should take is not a magical process but one which requires the gathering of information upon which to make an informed decision. I heard Sanders defer to President Obama which makes perfect sense. Obama is our President and the one who can request information from various sources and then make an INFORMED decision and the one who has the power to make that decision.

In regards to the demands in the article, why aren't these demands made of Clinton, the Democratic nominee, or so we are continuously told?

Of course, while Clinton did a tweet on the child that was UNFAIRLY treated over his clock, I don't think many, if any, voters would take issue with that and it probably scored Hillary some political points.

However, something tells me that team Hillary doesn't want to be front and center on the Muslim issue, especially the Black Muslim issue when most likely it will become a hot topic of debate next month (and right before the first Democratic debate).
However, someone sure does want to move Bernie in that direction. Not just move, but make him front and center, a man without all of the political power of Hillary Clinton.

And a speech in Michigan where Clinton isn't polling so great?

Why the continued focus on Bernie Sanders and not Hillary Clinton? I think the answer is quite obvious....

By using left publications (Alternet) to go after Sanders they can blame the far left. But do you really think that's whose pulling the strings here?

NOTE: I am NOT a fan of Farrakhan and I am NOT promoting him. But on Oct 10th he is leading a Justice or Else rally on DC. Do you think the news is just going to ignore that? When that march is covered will you accuse them of promoting Farrakhan?

However, Farrakhan will be front and center in under a month and I think that is why they are trying to push Bernie front and center on this issue.

"Of course, they [the Jews] have a very small number of people but they are the most powerful in the world, they have the power to do good and they have the power to do evil...Now what do the Jews do best? Well, they have been the best in finance that the world has ever known...They finance a lot of stuff in the world, and there's nothing wrong with that, but they are not good politicians, they are the worst politicians because they don't recognize really their friends and as well their enemies..."

"The Jews have been so bad at politics they lost half their population in the Holocaust. They thought they could trust in Hitler, and they helped him get the Third Reich on the road."

"It seems like being gay or whatever sin you wish to be a part of is okay ... but I have the duty to lift that gay person up to the standard to ask if they want to live the life that God wants them to or live the lifestyle that they want to live."

So what is it that you are asking? That we respect a raving anti Semite as he attacks the first Jewish contender for the nomination? On what basis?
Do you agree with Louis and his anti gay and anti Jewish activism? If not, why promote him here?

against millions of Americans. That's not the left, that's the religious right wing. Muslims can be the religious right and in fact they usually are. 10 Islamic countries have the death penalty for being gay, no other country does. Religious conservatives. Louis = Pat Robertson.
