DNC Chair Gets Heckled By Protesters Calling for More Democratic Debates

The call for more Democratic debates is growing louder.

The chair of the Democrats National Committee got heckled today during her remarks at the New Hampshire Democratic Party convention by protesters calling for more than six debates in the primary.

The chants began as Debbie Wasserman Schultz told the crowd she was looking forward to the December debate in Manchester, New Hampshire.

"We want debates! More debates!" party members yelled out, drowning out her remarks.

"Drawing a contrast with Republicans* or arguing about debates?"

* In which venue are you drawing this contrast, Deb?

aren't about drawing a contrast with Republicans, but about drawing a contrast with the actual candidates on the table for voters to choose from.

General Election debates are about drawing a contrast with Republicans.

DWS seems determined to ignore this. Maybe because the party machine does not want anyone drawing a contrast with the candidate they've already chosen for us.
