BLM! "Journey for Justice" Marchers Come to North Carolina--Bernie Greets Them in VA!

NAACP Journey for Justice Marches from Selma through GA, SC, NC, VA to DC

Dozens of marchers crossed through Hoke County on Monday as "America's Journey for Justice" made its way into North Carolina, with a voting rights rally scheduled for Thursday at the State Capitol in Raleigh. The march is part of an 850-mile trek from Selma, Alabama, to Washington, D.C., organized by the NAACP to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act and to call for increased protections at the polls.

Bernie Sanders and other Dem Activists Meet them in Burlington, Virginia!

MANY THANKS to DU'er demmiblue for this Original Post

BURLINGTON, Va., U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders on Tuesday joined civil rights demonstrators on the last leg of a 860-mile march from Selma, Alabama, to call on Congress to restore the Voting Rights Act.

Sponsored by the NAACP, the “Journey for Justice” crossed Memorial Bridge into Washington, D.C., and ended on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

Sanders denounced “cowards” in Statehouses who enacted new laws designed to suppress turnout on Election Day by making it harder to register to vote. Republican state lawmakers have exploited a Supreme Court ruling that gutted the landmark Voting Rights Act.

“We are a few steps from Arlington Cemetery where people fought and died for democracy, not to make it harder to vote,” Sanders said before the last leg of the march began. “Our job is to make it easier to vote. Our job is to try to increase voter turnout. And these Republican governors are afraid when people get into the ballot box and they don’t want them to vote. We’re gonna change that.”

Bernie doesn't care about racism or social justice.

Forget facts. That mantra is all that matters.

"Bernie Sander's supporters are racists" and that we are lousy people, in general.

That's sure to change people's minds and get them to support Hillary Clinton. There's nothing quite like attacking an entire group and smearing them to make them suddenly decide that you are right.

I mean, who wouldn't agree with people that say "You are a racist and you are a horrible person just like all of his other millions of supporters"? And on a Democratic website no less!

That's SURE to wake us all up and get us to vote in droves for Hillary Clinton!

And to the extent that some of her supporters are pushing racist op-eds, those people have some questions to answer too.
