There might not even be six debates?

There was a woman being interviewed. She talked about writing for the New Yorker. (Maybe not writing but she said she was the only one last year in the New Yorker ....) The one guy with gray hair that is always on Morning Joe was pressing her on the debates. Found out his name: John Heilemann.

He kept pressing her (great job). She finally made the comment that there might not even be six debates if someone takes off, or something along those lines.

Not sure what channel b/c my child changed the channel. Thought it was Bloomberg but not sure. Since John Heliemann is part of Bloomberg Politics it probably was that channel.

Did anyone else see this?

it makes sense. the last two are tba. approximate months, that is all.

i am sure dws and team hillary are disppointed that there are any. they probably put them off for as long as possible hoping that Hillary would have the nomination wrapped up before she had to debate. And as it is, they're clearly trying to stick a wrench in the process. This is truly one of the most despicable things I've seen a candidate do and see the DNC do on their behalf. Completely undemocratic. And as I've said before, someone who gets the nomination through cheating and trickery cannot necessarily count on anyone's vote in the in the general.

interesting though that originally, after not wanting any debates, Hillary agreed to four. And that's the exact number that of been scheduled. Very interesting…

once the DNC debates are over....the exclusivity clause will no longer matter.

Hillary will say that she never opposed additional debates.

3. Probably depends how long Bernie lasts. If Hillary's the only person running by the time

the last debate is scheduled, it would be silly to have a one person debate.

According to the site below, Anderson Cooper will be moderating. I have no idea if that site is accurate as other sites don't have a moderator listed at this time.

It could be that bloviating bullshit artist Wolff Blitzer. I recall one of the debates from 2008 where he consumed more time babbling than any of the candidates. Those debates were also "interesting" in that they did not even come close to giving each candidate the same amount of time or similar questions.

I wonder if the moderator gets to pick the questions?
