5 Months From Super Tuesday, Clinton Leads Sanders Big in Texas 53%-21%, Biden 14

State polls, to me are more important at this point.

Five Months From Super Tuesday, Clinton Leads Big in Texas

With all the stories about tight polls in Iowa and New Hampshire, it might be easy to forget that there are 48 other states out there that will also decide which candidate will reach the general election. Bottom line: It's all about the delegates...and it sure looks like the second most populous state in the country is going to give a ton of them to Hillary on March 1st.

In Texas, Clinton leads Sanders 53%-21%, with the still-undeclared Biden at 14%.

"Despite some challenges, the Clinton name is still gold among Texas Democrats," said Thomas Graham, Crosswind president and CEO. "Hillary's support remains solid, particularly among minorities and women. While Sanders fares well among white and younger voters relative to his overall numbers, Hillary Clinton still beats him 2-1 in even these categories."

Clinton even beats Sanders 52 percent to 31 percent among voters identifying themselves as liberal. The former secretary of state does best among African-Americans, with almost two thirds (65%) supporting her. ............

with the 99% and support someone other than Hillary. What 99% is that? Is it 99% of the left wing of the Democtatic party? You need more than that to win the nomination.
I've been ready for Hillary since my first donation to her campaign last year. President Clinton

Clinton should still carry Texas -- I mean, if she can't carry Texas she is done-- but if the trend continues Bernie will close to within single digits.

I have a friend who was attacked by the local press for merely attending a Sanders event to see who was there http://www.democraticunderground.com/107827740

2 months ago the claim was that Sanders wouldn't win a single state. Now 60 days later they're down to "Look-no way he gets Texas!"...

that included a path to citizenship for over ten million people. Sanders, strongly opposed. This will become big as the campaigns get ramped up in states like Texas and Florida. Over ten million more people out of the shadows today if the bill would have passed. Over ten million more people signing into healthcare.gov. Over ten million people actually being given the human respect we all deserve. What got in the way, Sanders issue with visas and IT jobs. Seriously. Ten million people paid the price because of economics. It just wasn't their time. Now we have an even more conservative congress to deal with. People like Clinton, O'Malley and Gutierrez are our leaders on this issue that will play big in many states.

The cloture count starting getting close. Sanders and the far right started getting nervous. They teamed up to kill it by way of amendment insuring it wouldn't get the votes necessary for cloture. He literally fought that hard against it. Once again, Obama, Biden and Clinton were all in favor and felt they might not get the chance again. Now were are here with a more conservative congress and Sanders is acting like it never happened and people just won't look. This is going to play big in many states.
