Goes to show how fucked up Congress is

Here you have the most combative, obstructionist do-nothing Congress in the HISTORY of the country. A congress with complete and utter contempt for the unwritten rules of bipartisan decorum that existed for hundreds of years until this country had the audacity to elect a "black Kenyan Muslim".

And the leader of this horrible House has been usurped in a coup by his own party for being TOO ACCOMMODATING to the president that he has defied ay EVERY turn on EVERY issue possible. And the leader of the Senate is likely in the same crosshairs.

out of the frying pan and into the fryer. Maybe it has to get worse to get better... maybe we have to hit rock bottom for the American people to take the majority back in both houses. We hit rock bottom under bush and the democrats held both houses and the presidency in 2008 but I guess we have short memories for how awful it was.

Hopefully 2016 brings us Hillary or Sanders and both houses one way or the other, because watching horrible/evil persons be replaced with others that are more horrible and evil is damn sickening.

He would have continued the disasterous surge in Iraq and supported more failed supply side bullshit.
A real bottoming out would have occurred, such as the one occured in the 30's.

Democrats held the Whitehouse for 20 years. Only a liberal Repub such as Ike could have won in those days and he did (with a Democratic congress, to which Democrats held the house for 40 years).

Most people are not that smart, they need to have it drilled in their head how bad things can really be.

Should 2016 be a mandate for Democrats (with both houses under our control) we need someone who can twist arms LBJ style and get things done. We may have to remove the filibuster completely to things through the Senate though.

I am dead serious about having an LBJ style President(minus Vietnam). You cannot play nice with these bastards and he understood this.

We need to start thinking outside the box.

I don't see much changing under Bernie or Hillary as long as this division remains.
