"SNIP................................

The Daily Caller reported late last night that they obtained an exclusive first look at Richard Miniter's forthcoming book Leading From Behind: The Reluctant President and the Advisors Who Decide for Him, which contains the "bombshell" allegation (sourced to a single anonymous official) that in the first three months of 2011, President Obama thrice canceled the mission to kill Osama bin Laden. Miniter's and the Caller's reporting is contradicted by previous in-depth reports indicating that the plan for the raid wasn't delivered to the president until the end of March, and training for the operation didn't begin until mid-April, meaning that there wasn't yet a "mission" for the president to cancel

"At the end of the day, make no mistake about it, it was the president of the United States that shouldered the burden of this operation, that made the hard decision,"

"I'm not a political guy, but I’ll tell you as an interested observer of this, they were magnificent how they handled the start-to-finish," McRaven said. "The president asked all the right questions…The president gave me ample time to prepare once the conversations were through."

I personally wouldnt care how many times he cancelled it. They got the guy. This is a pathetic attempt by a right wing asshat to stain one of Obama's main accomplishments.

Then its more of the Valerie Jarrett crap. They are obsessed with that woman.

Both stories could be true -- it could well be that Obama asked all the right questions and only when he go the answers did he agree to go ahead.

The look on Bush's face when he learned that Obama had found and killed Bin Laden says it all. Of course, Obama did not actually go on the mission or plan the basic ideas as to how the mission could be accomplished. That is the work of military strategists. The president's job was to make sure that all the questions he personally had were answered before he OK'd the mission. He did that job. He OK'd the mission when he believed the plan would work and they would get the right man.

Obama is perhaps the most patient president that we have ever had. And that is really good for the country right now. I wish he would be a lot less patient with Wall Street and with Republicans -- but all in due time.

reporters asked bush where is bin laden? And his answer was "IDK I dont spend that much time thinking about it" the republicans had nothing to say.
