The trillions we spend on war is immoral and we should be ashamed.
We need to stop the corporate welfare on all levels but ending our continuous war should be priority #1.

(28,627 posts)Great internet ad, social media ad. Bernie tells people how it really is not what Fox News tells you how it is.

(84,711 posts)It really drew me in to the watch. I'd like to see Bernie Campaign include this somewhere in the Primary. I think many people could identify with this ad.

(50,983 posts)Of course we can remember when overt contempt for the people was limited to Fox "News". Now it seems to have spread over the entire media. Their bad attitude has spread so far and wide that additional millions of us can now see them for what they are.

Either overseas or at home.
All those pictures of the great life are from the history books they taught me from when I was too young to defend myself.
Native people killed robbed. Black people subjugated, killed, robbed. Much of the civilized world destroyed in a war, and we profit handily from the training and opportunity we paid to create, and then from rebuilding what we blew up - mostly while black folks, now off the old-style plantation, couldn't vote. So there is that.
I think Bernie is our only viable choice. That said, and I don't think he is the one to start it, we need a conversation about how we either can't have that way of life without killing and subjugating a bunch of people, or what else we might do in it's place, since many people, and their children, are still sliding closer to poverty each year, and there is nothing on the horizon that will change that.
And that is solely because we are trying to bring back a past that is over.
On edit: President Sanders is our only choice.
