If there was any doubt that the whole email/Benghazi nonsense was nothing but a witch hunt, the wonderfully named McCarthy just put that doubt to rest. What's going on here is simple. Republicans are abusing their power in order to help Republicans win the presidential campaign.

There was never anything to Benghazi!! and there was never anything to email server!! and everyone always knew that. But, I get it, you're the press, your job is to sensationalize. But now the truth is out there, plainly, for everyone to see. Time to show some integrity.

Oh, and "progressives" who have jumped aboard the McCarthy/Gowdy train based on the "enemy of my enemy" principle -- now is probably a good time to hop off.
