A commenter on DKos commented that, if Reid's charge against Romney was false, he would not be using those words. He would say something like, "Well I KNOW I paid taxes for the last ten years, so logically, whoever Reid's been talking to is not credible." Later in the interview Romney did say something along those lines, but too late to walk back the first statement, the one that sounds like a criminal in an interrogation room saying, "I don't believe you've got anything on me." A statement not of fact, but of hope.
