(17,796 posts)we're willing to listen to anybody, agreeing when we think they're right and disagreeing when we need to.

(2,570 posts)having the intellectual heft and integrity to make proper determinations based on all the "agreed upon facts", as opposed to ignoring or discarding them based solely upon where or with who they originated.

(44,117 posts)He's a disingenuous tool of the GOP. Interesting when he sticks to statistics, promotes republicans when he goes to commentary.
Here's the deal. I have the intellectual heft to have learned that I need not breathlessly absorb the babblings of Limbaugh, Hannity, and Hannity-lites like Chuck. The first thing they teach you in school is that sources matter.
Todd has a track record, he has an agenda. As soon as Bernie wins Iowa and New Hampshire, he's going to go after Bernie. Liars lie, that's what liars do.

(9,090 posts)they are popular in the teabag crowd because of their royal certitude- like kings and dictators- it brings their followers a warm felling and lessens the irrational fears the very same leaders induce- even though it requires regular massive denial of reality
that sack of shit. flip flops are acceptable for dems, it's the certainty addicted authoritarians that can't handle a thoughtful change of mind.
how much of clinton's public acceptance of tpp was based on her still being close to the admin, like keystone?
her late rejection of it shouldn't be rejected just because republican shits like the todder and the other republicans call it a flip flop. that flip flop labeling of kerry was very helpful to them helping keep bush in the white house and it's a label that should be embraced by thinking people just as it is reviled by authoritarians and fascists frightened by the uncertainty it represents.
politicians are supposed to listen to constituents, too.
