(15,558 posts)I have difficulty understanding why people who think Clinton is the cat's pajamas would want EW... Does not compute...
artislife
(9,497 posts)And to consider Hillary even has a campaign now, because if Liz had jumped in Hillary would have O'Malley numbers.

(6,409 posts)It has to be somebody like him. Clinton's strategy is to cover all the bases, ideologically speaking. Since she is now moving to the left, she has to choose a running mate who covers her toward the center and the right. Vilsak would fit the bill perfectly. She might want to choose somebody who would play well in the south.

(39,961 posts)that it would be a blessing if he was elected over the Republican gang of idiots and Hillary Clinton.
I could be on board *easily* with a Sanders/O'Malley ticket, or even the other way around.
I was all for Hillary in 2008. If you doubt it, feel free to look at my posts from HuffPo before Ariana sold us all out. I was 100% behind her.
Now?
She has changed her mind on where she stands more often than a sidewalk hot dog vendor changes the water. It has gotten gross at this point.

(130,156 posts)Have never been for hrc, fwiw.
We've got to focus on the positive. There is way too much good in this world, and I believe both O'Malley and Sanders want to foster it!
elleng
(130,156 posts)I can hear both of them addressing/challenging the House repugs' failure to agree on ANYTHING, hating govt, failing and refusing to enable govt to work, and informing We the People that such CANNOT STAND!

(10,044 posts)It matters. I'd like someone who was not part of the crash of 2008 who just barely missed going to prison and merely had to pay a fine...
Bluenorthwest
(45,319 posts)Either he just lied or he spoke trash without bothering to check his facts and either thing is a bad habit for anyone who wants to gain the trust of voters. She'd need a very strong running mate. He's not it. O'Malley would work.
BooScout
(10,406 posts)They do look alike though.

(45,319 posts)protest Joaquin so I just assumed he was the Castro Brother of your choice. That attack on Latino activists did not sit well with me. It's not going to be forgotten.
Julian has a better reputation and resume, I'll agree with that. Still not my choice.

(10,893 posts)I like all the VP possibilities, and pretty much all the candidates running (except Webb). My only hope is that the VP pick ends up being someone who is level-headed, loyal, articulate, and who can maybe excite any D voters who HC is unable to.
