If the DNC/Democratic Party Actually Had it's Shit Together,

We'd/they'd be blasting the airwaves with this simple Truth-Bomb to utterly destroy the GOP brand
permanently for decades to come, ushering in a revolutionary & historic Democratic take-over of both
houses of Congress.

This IS the Democrats moment of opportunity, to drive this one simple truth home to the American People:

GOVERNMENT-HATERS ARE CONSTITUTIONALLY INCAPABLE OF
GOVERNING & THEREFORE UNFIT FOR PUBLIC OFFICE. PERIOD.

EXHIBIT A: HOUSE GOP

It's a short, simple, and self-evidently true statement. If trumpeted from every Democratic rooftop, in a sustained
and unrelenting way, it would set the stage for the Democratic Presidential nominee to win big, with coat-tails the
size of Texas.

Right now the House GOP is in complete disarray, is already a laughing stock in DC, of every national political
observer and commentator who can still fog a mirror. The GOP has infamously become "The Party of NO!",
the party that "SHUTS DOWN THE GOVERNMENT", the party that wastes million$ of tax dollars on partisan attacks using the House Select Committee on Benghazi simply to embarrass a Democratic rival, the party that
now can't even decide who it wants as Speaker of the House, the third most powerful position in the government
of the United States of America.

But -- sadly & tragically -- I do not expect this to happen. Not with Wasserman-Schultz's anti-democratic stance
limiting Democratic Primary debates to only 6, on weekends when no one watches TV. <--This will render the
Democratic Party virtually invisible to voters, while the GOP government-haters flood prime time airwaves with
12-13 well-publicized, record-number-viewer debates, giving them a virtual monopoly on visibility to voters.

I'd LOVE to be 110% wrong about this. So please, DWS, feel free to surprise me and actually USE the potentially
powerful position you hold as Chair of the DNC to actively HELP the Democratic Party actually WIN elections...

how rigged our system is.

The dirty money that attracts all the lowest elements of society, the Brocks eg, who dare to try to impose their lack of morality on the rest of us with their lectures on 'pragmatism' etc. the slime of society who would probably starve WITHOUT that tainted money, have been flooding internet forums, trying to impose THEIR brand of 'ethics' on decent people for over 15 years now are being exposed for what they are. Not that we didn't know.

But there's nothing like sunlight to expose cockroaches.

The sooner we get this dirty money OUT of our political system, ALL OF IT, the sooner these unethical useless excuses for human beings will have to find another way to earn their keep. I won't say where I believe they will end up.

If all it took to win was calling Republicans names, explain Alan Grayson losing?

A two party system means it's actually pretty hard to have a party die off as it usually requires a viable 3rd party to take the place. But how often does a third party emerge with a viable structure? The last time it happened here was in the 1800s.

because our government has been taken over by government-hating elected
public officials who are, by definition, constitutionally incapable of governing.
This, in turn, creates a dysfunctional government, which has NEVER been
more obviously on public display than it is right now, w/ the House GOP.

That is my point, and I stand by it. THIS message would/will resonate in a
way that wakes people up to the fact that they've been hoodwinked and
mugged by the likes of Reagan, the Bush Crime Family and 3rd way DINOs,
tricked into voting against their own best interests.

We need government to work again, for the people. This is one huge reason
I'm supporting Bernie Sanders for POTUS

The conservatives that conservative voters elected are doing what those voters want. Their only problem is that there are too many RINOs in the Republican Party.

If you try to tell these voters that "Republican politicians are bad because they hate Government" the average voter is just gonna say "So? I hate government too."

Government should work FOR the people? Great. But what does that mean? Canadian style health care? A nice election of Pelosi to Speaker of the House without any squabbling?

Unfortunately too many of the DLC's candidates are going to BE those 3rd way DINOs, and THEN what is the message. heck, right now in Kansas we do not even have a candidate for either my house seat nor for the US Senate seat. Right now the polling says that Hillary will likely be President and still be dealing with a Republican House, and I don't think there is any magical, simple way to change that sad fact. Bashing them as government haters is not likely to be that magic bean, not in this day and age.

I'm involved -- thanks to Bernie Sanders -- in an unprecedented political revolution, that is
admittedly an uphill battle that will take some unexpected turns and changes along the way,
not unlike Occupy Wall St. This is not politics as usual, thank goodness; yet it is very much
"in this day and age".

Call me a dreamer. Call me "unrealistic". Personally I love supporting an avowed Democratic
Socialist who actually believes in good governing, and who is a very convincing and talented
advocate for functional government that works for all voters, except the Oligarchs & their
minions, and who is looking forward to handing government-haters their ass in any discussion
or debate on the issue of making government work for We the People.

You won't win these potential voters over by attacking them. Bernie otoh, is getting them back into the system by showing them that not ALL politicians are bought and paid for by the Corporate predators who have purchased so much of our government.

but I kinda scoff at the whole "rigged system" notion.

We don't get stuck with policy like the Bush tax cuts or the invasion of Iraq without first allowing Bush to get elected. Sure, electing Gore in 2000 would NOT have radically transformed the US economic system and government, but it would have prevented a whole lot of bad policies.

Same with Kansas. You don't get Brownback policies without making Brownback governor and also electing a whole bunch of conservatives to the legislature. Sure, a whole bunch of the KDP look like moderate Republicans to me. In fact, our last candidate in my legislative district was a Republican about 8 years ago. I wish she had won. I wish pretty much every Democrat had won in the last state race. i don't accept that it is rigged.

A democratic governor and a democratic legislature probably wouldn't be perfect, especially in Kansas (the coastal liberals would probably still be scoffing at us) but it would be a damned sight better that what is there now.

they're hoping THE PLUTOCRATIC DONOR CLASS will come to that conclusion in private, and start donating money to the Democrats instead. That way nobody has to make a fuss in public. Just wait until the Chamber of Commerce, the Kochs, Sheldon Adleson, and all the other capitalist billionaires come to the conclusion that the GOP Monkey House was great as long as they couldn't do anything EXCEPT pass tax cuts, and fund corporate welfare programs that benefit THEM. But as soon as they've gone so crazy that they can't even elect a leader, or do anything BESIDES shut down the government, and refuse to raise the debt ceiling...then it's time to start funding 'centrist' Democrats instead.
